Engineering Overview

Bestway Salt Bath Furnaces use molten chemical salts as the heating medium, ensuring rapid heat transfer by conduction (4x to 5x faster than radiation/convection) and total elimination of oxidation and scale. Electrodes immersed directly in the salt bath generate heat through molten salt resistance. Ideal for precision high-speed steel tools, drills, dies, and transmission components.

Metallurgical Applications

Tool steel hardening (HSS M2, D2, D3), liquid carburizing, nitrocarburizing, austempering ductile iron, and isothermal quenching.

Standard Engineering Features

High-conductivity water-cooled submerged electrodes; Transformer with multiple voltage tapping steps; Fume extraction hood and exhaust scrubbing duct; Ceramic or heat-resistant alloy salt pot options.
