Bestway Pit Type Gas Carburizing Furnaces (GCF) offer outstanding thermal efficiency for heavy, long, or dense cylindrical components. Operating beneath floor level with an airtight alloy retort, atmosphere gases such as methanol and LPG/propane are cracked in-situ for controlled carbon potential. An internal high-flow recirculation fan ensures deep, uniform carbon diffusion.

Carburizing, carbonitriding, clean hardening, normalizing of automotive gears, splined shafts, pinions, and bearing races.

Centrifugally cast heat-resistant alloy retort (HK40 / HU / HP); High-temperature atmosphere recirculation fan in furnace lid; Oxygen probe with automated carbon potential controller (0.2% to 1.3% C); Pneumatic lid lift and swing mechanism.
